Deportivo La Coruña have announced the signing of the Swiss defender Fabián Schär, who will sign for four years pending a medical. Schär, who is 25, plays as a centre back and has been signed from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim of the Bundesliga. He has 29 caps for Switzerland and has scored 7 goals.
He will become Depor’s fifth new signing of the summer after the Fede Valverde, Gerard Valentín, Zakaria Bakkali and Carles Gil. The full back Juanfran Moreno and the Brazilian can be added to the list Guilherme dos Santos because the Galicians have activated the purchase options they had.
