A handful of Sevilla players met up, apparently, according to Banega's wife's Instagram
Photographs of Sevilla players having a party have created a stir, because they should be in quarantine. Images put up by Ever Banega’s partner on social media show Lucas Ocampos, Mudo Vazquez, Luuk De Jong and Ever Banega appearing at a table with their partners, with over 10 people - something prohibited by phase 1 of the deescalation.
Banega’s partner quickly took the pouters down but it was too late. We will have to see what sanctions the players get. In the case of positives, it could be a blow for restarting the division on June 12.
