The striker was at the centre of controversy again during Barca's game at Celta

Colombian supporters have already made their mind up about Iago Aspas. The player was already known in the country after an unsavoury incident with Jefferson Lerma in January in which the defender accused Aspas of calling him " a black shit", and he was embroiled in more trouble during Barca's game at Celta Vigo on Tuesday.

Early in the second half, the striker sent Barca's Colombian defender Yerry Mina tumbling and shouted at him as he was on the floor, earning a deserved yellow card in the process. It looked like the incident would end there and remain on the pitch. But it hasn't.

After the game, which finished 2-2, Iago Aspas's instagram account was inundated with offensive messages, most of which were from Colombian suppoorters, insulting the Celta striker and his family for the attitude he had shown towards Mina and accusing him of making racists remarks again.

Aspas was also a figure of controversy later in the game as he knocked in Celta's second equaliser with his arm.
