People are asking if Cristiano Ronaldo’s good goalscoring for has propelled him up the Pichichi chart for Spain’s top scorers. Well, no, it hasn’t. The Portuguese was far and is still very, very far from the top of the table which is led by Lionel Messi, with 20 goals.
After the winter break, Ronaldo came back guns blazing. However Messi is still followed by Luis Suarez, 17, Iago Aspas 15, and Cristhian Stuani, 13. Cristiano is tied with Maxi Gomez in fifth place on 12. Madrid have played 23 games and have 15 left in the top flight.
