Bakambu extends his contract with Villarreal until 2022
The Congolese striker has added two more years to his existing contract
He has scored 33 goals in the past 2 seasons
The Congolese forward Cédric Bakambu has extended his contract with Villarreal CF for two additional seasons, until 30 June 2022, the club has announced.
Since joining Villarreal from the Turksih club Burasport, the 26-year-old Bakambu has become the team’s main attacking threat, scoring 33 goals in the past two seasons. He will sign his new contract next Friday.
