Piqué responds to Tebas & announces another Kings League 'bombshell'
The ex-Barcelona defender took advantage of Tebas calling the competition a circus
Gerard Piqué has responded to Javier Tebas after the LaLiga president's statements about the Kings League. Tebas spoke about the former FC Barcelona defender's project on Monday but avoided comparing the competitions.
"This is like saying Pasapalabra (a Spanish game show) can compete with LaLiga," Tebas said. "The only similarity is the ball. It is not comparable even at an audiovisual level. When Ibai (Llanos) and Piqué bought Ligue 1 rights for Spain, it seemed like a revolution, but it lasted two games..."

Tebas described the tournament as a "circus", something that Piqué has taken advantage of to announce this weekend's games.
"Welcome to the Kings League circus," he tweeted. "The bombshell coming on Sunday is crazy stuff. Tick tock, tick tock."
