Girona renew Cristhian Stuani's contract until 2022
The Uruguayan was wanted by Barca in the winter window but they backed off
Girona made official the renewal of Cristhian Stuani's contract. The Uruguayan forward has signed on until 2022.
The striker is having a fine season and his reward is a salary increase, while his release clause has been raised from 15 million euros, although it has not been revealed.
Quique Carcel and Stuani's representatives have been negotiating with the club for weeks and eventually got a deal. Since he arrived a year and a half ago he has scored 33 times for Girona in La Liga and one in the Copa del Rey.
