Konrad de la Fuente racking up assists in Marseille in pre-season
The former Barca winger has hit the ground running in France
Konrad de la Fuente has not been in Ligue 1 for long with Marseille but he’s already having an impact. He appeared in the friendly against Switzerland’s Servette, where he registered two assists in a 3-1 win.
The young American winger played his second game for the club after moving from Barcelona this summer.
The 20-year-old came off the bench in the second half with the score at 1-1, and he quickly set up Dario Benedetto. His second assist was in the 92nd minute, with a cross-shot which was turned in by Benedetto.
Marseille’s pre-season calendar continues on July 21 against Portuguese side Braga, then against Benfica on July 25.
De La Fuente could make his competitive debut for the club on August 8 when Marseille visit Montpellier in the first Ligue 1 season.
