Official: Barça Femeni add Geyse Ferreira to their squad
The Brazilian finished as the joint top scorer last season in LaLiga Iberdrola
Barcelona Femení needed a striker for next season and they got one. Geyse Ferreira, from Madrid CFF. She’s signed a deal for two seasons, until 2024, joining Nuria Rabano and Lucy Bronze.
After finishing as the top scorer in the Primera Iberdrola last season alongside Oshoala, the youngster was of interest to big clubs. She was close to moving to Arsenal but in the end Geyse chose Barcelona.
One of her objectives is to win the Champions League and other titles and she can do that at Barcelona. Lieke Martens left for PSG and Jenni Hermoso could go too, so Oshoala and Geyse will likely be the main strikers for next season.
She brings speed, power and, above all, goals.
