Asisat Oshaola did it again to help Barcelona reach the final four
Barcelona Femeni made it through to the women’s Champions League semi-finals despite a 2-1 defeat by Man City, owing to their 3-0 home win over the English side last week.
Janine Beckie broke the deadlock for the hosts but Asisat Oshaola, who netted in the first leg, levelled early in the second half to effectively end the tie as a contest.
Sam Mewis struck late on but all it did was hand them another consolation in a 4-2 aggregate defeat.
Barcelona will face Lyon or Paris Saint Germain in the semi, while earlier Chelsea polished off Wolfsburg.
The semi-final first and second legs will be on 24-25 April and 1-2 May, ahead of the final on May 16.
