Lluís Cortés hammered their Copa de la Reina final opponents in Sunday's league meeting

Barcelona made it two wins from two in the league on Sunday as they hammered Logroño 6-0 to continue their excellent start to the season.

After last weekend's romp against Real Madrid, they won their first home game of the new campaign with goals from Lieke Martens, Caroline Graham Hansen, Vicky Losada, Aitana (2) and Alexia.

It took just four minutes for Barça, who were missing a number of players, including goalkeeper Sandra âños and forward Jenni Hermoso, to open the scoring through Dutch international Mertens.

They were relentless in the first half and, after having a goal ruled out for offside, Barça doubled their lead through Hansen in the 16th minute. It was 4-0 by the break thanks to goals from Losada and Aitana.

Barça could have scored more in the second half, with Asisat Oshoala missing a good chance, but had to wait until the final 15 minutes to increase their tally.

Substitute Alexia made it five before Aitana put the finishing touches on another fine performance with her second of the game late on.

They will meet Logroño again in the Copa de la Reina final (last season's edition, not yet finished) and on this showing look good value for a clean sweep of trophies across Spain this season.
