Valladolid refuse to release Alcaraz, Masip & Sergio for Catalonia game
Catalonia play against Venezuela on Monday in Girona
Real Valladolid duo Rubén Alcaraz and Jordi Masip coach Sergio González will not be made available for Catalonia's game against Venezuela on March 25.
Valladolid feel the trio are best served by remaining at the club during the international break "in a decisive phase of the season" as they battle against relegation.
According to the club's website, Real Valladolid not to let Alcaraz or Masip play in the game, while coach Sergio will not be able to take his place on the Catalan side's coaching staff.
"With respect to the Catalan Federation, we must put our own sporting interests first at this decisive stage of the season and avoid running injuyr risks with these two players."
