A decision has finally been made about which players will be able to join up with Barça B and the 2nd leg of their play-off match. Riqui Puig and Ansu Fati won't be available for Garcia Pimienta's crunch contest. However backup stopper Arnau Tenas can be selected should he be needed.
There was a chance all three would play in the first leg against Valladolid Promesas but Quique Setien said no. He preferred to keep Riqui and Ansu with the main squad and later give them a week's rest, just like the rest of the senior team. It was then suggested they could be made available for the second leg but Setien has shut down that idea as well. Araujo's situation is unknown but a decision is likely to be made this afternoon and all signs point to him not being used either.
Goalkeeper Arnau has joined up with the B side and is likely to replace Ramon Vila, who will have a little break of his own before beginning preseason with the Juvenil side.
