Arnaiz's fine form for Barça B continue with a goal against Oviedo

Barça B coach Gerard Lopez is full of praise for the summer signing

Jose Arnaiz is looking like one of the signings of the summer at a cost of just 3.5 million euros plus vairables. It's an sizeable investment for a B team in the second division, but the Barça B player is proving his worth.

The former Real Valldolid winger scored a stunning goal in Sunday's draw with Real Oviedo. It only served to earn a point, but it once again showed that Barcelona did no err in signing him in August.

After the game he spoke in the mixed zone and said he was "happy with the goal, but happier with the work the team put in."

Among a number of short answers, Arnaiz wanted to make clear that, when asked about the first team, "it's not a decision which is up to me" and saying that he's exclusively focused on the B team.

"On a personal level I feel good," he added. "I adapt quickly to any position. The difference with respect to Valladolid that there's a lot more play with the ball [at Barça]."

Arnaiz also has the support of his coach, Gerard Lopez, who said: "He's an important bet for he club. And not just for the second division...

"If you don't sign him, he would have signed for Juventus or Real Madrid. It's a big investment, but he's performing immediately. He's got a good future and his signing was a success."
