The Brazilian will not see out his time at Camp Nou and a switch is imminent
Matheus Pereira has taken a decision on his future. The Brazilian midfielder has a contract with Barça Atletic until June 30, 2025, but at 24 years old his time is running out. He will move in the coming hours to Eibar. The deal will be a transfer and Barcelona will get 50 per cent of any future sale. If they get promoted, they will pay Barcelona some bonus fees.
The Brazilian player was a starter for Sergi Barjuan’s side last season and got five goals and three assists in 36 games. He took his medical at Eibar today, Monday.
The Basque side were close to getting promoted but lost in the play-offs to Girona, after almost sealing automatic promotion.
Pereira was close to agree a deal with Ibiza recently but in the end he chose Eibar.
