Barca offering a contract reneal to Jandro Orellana and Oriol Busquets
The duo had options to extend but the club did not execute them in May
Barca B are putting their squad together for next season. The club are counting on Jandro Orellana and Oriol Busquets to stay after offering them new deals.
Both had contracts that expire on June 30. The club could have renewed their deals automatically for two seasons before May 31 but it would provoke a raise in salary and place in the first team squad. Barca were not thinking about that option so they did not execute the clause.
They are expected to stay with a new two year offer. In Jandro’s case he may be in the first team squad for pre-season. The midfielder has had a really good campaign with Barca B and he has been suggested as an eventual Sergio Busquets replacement. The club are optimistic over his future and may also loan him out.
Oriol Busquets’ experience would help Sergi Barjuan’s Barca B next season.
