The forward scored twice but Barça U19s were knocked out of the Youth League

Ansu Fati scored twice but was unable to keep Barcelona in the UEFA Youth League as they were beaten on penalties by Chelsea in the Final Four in Nyon on Friday.

In a repeat of last year's final, which Barça won, the Catalans twice gave away they lead to draw 2-2 before being beaten on spot kicks.

Ansu impressed despite the defeat, netting both of Barça's goals, and speaking after the game he revealed his intention to stay at the club.

"I have always wanted to be here and I hope I can continue at the club," he told SPORT, Cadena Ser and Mundo Deportivo after the game.

"I want to keep winning titles with Barça. I've always won and won and won in La Masia and now we've lost La Liga and the Youth League. But there are still years ahead of me [at the club] and I have to keep going."

Commenting on how the players felt after losing to Chelsea, he added: "The dressing room's really pisssed off. We had the advantage for the whole game but they're a good sign. All we can do is keep moving forward.

"It was good to score the goals but we haven't got through, which was the important thing. Now we have to go for the Copa. It's difficult, we'll take it game by game and try to improve. We're a group of kids with a lot of ambition and we're going to try and win it."
