The finals will be played in 12 cities across the continent

UEFA's Executive Committee will debate the possible impact of coronavirus at Euro 2020, which will take place between June 12 and July 12 in 12 different European countries, according to DPA.

They will consider possible measures in the event that the virus continues to spread across Europe, including alternative plans. For now, though, the organisation insists everything remains on track.

The competition is due to start in Italy, the European country worst affected by coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan in China. A number of Serie A games have been called off in the last two weeks, including the clash between Juventus and Inter Milan on Sunday.

Spain will host a number of games at San Mames in Bilbao, while England, Scotland, Ireland, Denmark and Hungary are among the many other countries set to stage matches.
