"PSG's comments are intolerable and a lack of respect"
The French club's players and coach have been running their mouths on Leo Messi
Barcelona presidential pre-candidate Victor Font said what PSG and their players are doing is “lamentable” and “lacks respect”. He was referring to their constant advances towards Lionel Messi.
“I ask the directors of PSG to respect Barca and Messi, who has said he will decide his future at the end of the season,” said Font.
The issue has reared its head after Angel di Maria said “there’s a big chance” Messi will come to PSG. That followed Leandro Paredes, Mauricio Pochettino and Neymar also saying similar things.
All these comments have raised the stakes ahead of the Champions League last 16 clash between these sides. They meet at Camp Nou on Feb 16, and the return is in Paris on March 10.
Messi has been in the news a lot lately after his contract was leaked by El Mundo.
