Meeting between Tusquets and the potential presidents to fix election date
The club are arranging a meeting at their offices on Wednesday afternoon
The election could take place before March, because Carles Tusquets wants it to happen on Feb 28, according to Catalunya Radio.
Barcelona are planning an important meeting for Wednesday at 5.15pm, at the club offices, between the president of the management board of the club, Tusquets, and the three candidates to become the next president, Joan Laporta, Victor Font and Toni Freixa.
Barcelona have also asked for it to be possible to vote by post, which the Catalan government confirmed on Tuesday. They wanted that modification to the Catalan sports laws before making the new date of the elections official. However they cannot activate an electronic vote as the process is already underway.
