Joan Laporta preparing for Hector Bellerin's return to Barcelona
In England they say the presidential candidate wants the right back to return
After various failed attempts in recent years, Hector Bellerin could finally return to Barcelona. Per the Mirror, Joan Laporta has spoken to the Arsenal defender to try and bring him to the club.
Bellerin would be one of the weapons that Laporta would use in his election campaign, according to the report, for a price of around 25 million euros.
Bellerin’s return has been discussed for many years, but Arsenal’s demands have been too high for Barcelona to match.
In these moments the Gunners have changed their mind and they are working on a remodelling of the squad. The club have suffered this season and coach Mikel Arteta is under pressure.
Laporta, for now, has not spoken about what he would try and do in a sporting sense ahead of the presidential elections in January.
