Official: River-Boca Copa Libertadores final called off again
CONMEBOL announced that Sunday's game will not go ahead
CONMEBOL have confirmed that the Copa Libertadores final between River Plate and Boca Juniors has once again been called off.
The second leg of the final at River's Monumental had orginally been due to played on Saturday but was moved to Sunday after Boca's bus was attacked by home supporters.
Several players were hit by glass as the windows broke and pepper spray filtered on to the bus, with some players vomiting as a result.
Boca argued their players were in no condition to play the game on Saturday and raised the same point again on Sunday.
Finally, with River fans already at the stadium, the game was postponed again. There's no date yet for when it will be played.
The first leg between the two Buenos Aires-based sides ended 2-2.
