Valencia coach Marcelino García Toral, who won his first ever Copa del Rey trophy as his side beat Barcelona 2-1 in Seville on Saturday, said he feels like "the happiest man in the world."
"It's my first trophy and I am so happy," Marcelino told Televisión Española after goals from Kevin Gameiro and Rodrigo Moreno sealed the win.
"There's always a fiirst final and it's cost us seven semifinals to get to one and thanks to the players, the fans, the coaching staff and my family, I've been made, on a professional level, the happiest man in the world.
"Football can be so volatile. Last year was magnificent. Then we started this season bad but that suffering and the players who have never been devided, plus the support of the fans, has given us this. They've given me the chance to win a trophy."
