On August 17 in Barcelona a van hit several pedestrians on Las Ramblas in what has been described as a terrorist attack. The world of sport reacted to condemn the events and show their support for the victims.
Barcelona published a tweet reading: "Deeply saddened by the attack on our city. All our thoughts are with the victims, their families and with the people of Barcelona."
