What will Javier Tebas make of Carvajal's middle finger at Camp Nou?

The Real Madrid right-back made the gesture after Sergio Ramos's late equaliser on Saturday

When the Barça players celebrated their goal against Valencia at Mestalla, it led to a whole chain of events. Even the always 'neutral' Javier Tebas, president of La Liga, got involved, openly criticising the Barcelona players for provoking the anger from the home supporters. Now, in the Camp Nou Clasico on Saturday, we've seen Real Madrid's players provoing home fans. And the question is obvious: What will Tebas say now?

It was the 90th minute when Sergio Ramos equalised, heading beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen. It was 1-1 and Barcelona were left with little time to react, although it's true they had a chance in added time. As is normal, the Madrid players were delighted to level and celebrated their goal accordingly in the corner of the Camp Nou pitch. Everything very normal until, as the images show, there was a clear gesture made by one of the Madrid players.

The man in question is Dani Carvajal and the gesture was sticking his middle finger up at the Barça fans. The Madrid player left his teammates and instead of joining in the scramble, provoked the Barcelona support. It went almost unnoticed at the time due to the delirium, but images caught the moment perfectly.

Afte the game, Carvajal took to Twitter to apologise for his actions: "I would like to apologise for the gesture made to a section of the crowd responding to the insulst. It's something which you should not do," he wrote. The question now is whether LFP chief Tebas will be as fortchoming in his criticism of Madrid's players as he was of Barça's after that late win in Valencia in October ?
