Sergio Ramos is no stranger to seeing red and added another record to his collection against Manchester City

Sergio Ramos added yet another red card to his collection when he pulled back Gabriel Jesus in last night's Champions League match against Manchester City. It meant Real Madrid were down to 10-men and could've faced an even bigger task in the return leg.

The stats speak for themselves: Sergios Ramos has been sent off more than any other player in the history of LaLiga. He's played 481 matches in the league and has received 154 yellow cards, 14 double yellow cards and 6 straight reds.

In the Champions League, he equalled the record held by Edgar Davids and Zlatan Ibrahimovic with 4 sending offs each. In Europe, he's received 36 yellow cards, 2 double yellow cards and 2 straight reds (in 124 matches).

With Spain, he's been somewhat more fortunate. In his 170 matches, he's never been sent off and has received 24 yellow cards (7 in Friendly matches).

Zidane must now decide who partners Varane at the back for the 2nd leg in Manchester.
