There was nothing friendly about the Clasico in Las Vegas. Barça and Real Madrid played with great intensity as was witnessed in the first half especially.
A foul was committed by Jordi Alba on Vinícius Júnior and the situation ended up in a scrap that the referee did what he could to try and avoid anything worse happening.
Real Madrid players reacted badly, with the first to get involved Rodrygo, who started pushing Busquets and then Rüdiger who enjoys these kind of moments, ran half the length of the pitch to go head-to-head with Araujo. The German had clashed with Lewandowski minutes earlier. The big argument was cut short when the referee imposed his authority on the situation.
He summoned captains Sergio Busquets and Lucas Vázquez to ask for calm. There were just a few seconds of the first half left to go and after the freekick, the referee sent the teams into the dressing room and there were no further consequences.
