Ramos is not happy with Pique's constant complaints about referees

He also feels the red card for the foul on Messi was excessive

Sergio Ramos spoke in the mixed zone after being sent off in Real Madrid's 3-2 loss to Barcelona, replying to Gerard Pique's criticism.

Ramos was asked about Pique accusing referees of being overly permissive with Madrid: "Permissive with us? The same as for them against PSG?"

The defender also defended his challenge on Lionel Messi, which saw him dismissed: "[The red card] was excessive and it conditioned the rest of the game.

"It's true I arrived late, but I never wanted to do damage. Messi did well, jumped and you can see I don't even touch him."

With respect to his comments as he was leaving the pitch, Ramos confirmed they were directed at Pique.

He said: "Geri spends all day giving opinions on the referees and putting pressure [on them]. In the end with so much pressure and complaints, [he] got what you wanted.

"I know he's said that I will regret it when I see the images, but I think the same.

"I don't have a bad relationship with anyone. Everyone defends their own interests, but after a Clasico I'm not going to give him a hug. I don't regret my actions, I regret having left my team a man down."
