Alena and Samper were not included in the 19 man squad for Sunday's showdown
Ernesto Valverde published his squad list for the Clasico on Saturday morning. On it, midfielder Denis Suarez was included. The Galician has not been in the coach's plans this season but he might get a chance in the biggest match of the season so far.
The list has 19 players which means one will be discarded before the game. It might be Chumi, the Barca B defender.
Meanwhile Sergi Samper and Carles Alena have ben left out entirely. Neither have had a chance to play this season under Valverde.
There are no surprises in the rest of the squad, with Vermaelen, Umtiti and Messi left out.
