Barça begin to prepare for the clasico after another Anoeta shambles

There were a number of Barça B players involved in Monday's session ahead of Copa del Rey game this week

FC Barcelona have began to prepare for Wednesday's Copa del Rey game against Hercules in Alicanta and for the clasico on Saturday against Real Madrid at Camp Nou.

Without time to give his players a break after the 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad at Anoeta on Sunday, Luis Enrique took charge of a training session at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper de Sant Joan Despi on Monday morning.

The Barça coach had two first team players back: Jordi Masip, who was given paternity leave on Saturday, and Aleix Vidal, who had missed two days to get married.

To complete the session, Luis Enrique called up six players from Barça B: Marc Cardona, Marlon Santos, Carles Aleña, Nili Perdomo, Moises and Carbonell.

It's likely that all six of the players, or at least a large number of them, will be in the squad for the game against Hercules (Estadio Rico Perez, Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 22.00h CET) given Barça will want to reserve their stars for the clasico against Madrid on Dec. 3 at Camp Nou.
