Marcelo: Cristiano Ronaldo's first petition at Juventus
According to Sport Mediaset, Ronaldo wants the Brazilian to join him in Italy
Just a day after Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Juventus, the former Real Madrid forward has already asked for the Italian club to make an effort on another signing.
Ronaldo has reportedly asked for president Andrea Agnelli to make a move for his now former teammate Marcelo.
According to Sport Mediaset, the Portugal international wants to be reunited with the left-back in Turin after striking up a brilliant relationship in the Spanish capital.
However, Madrid are not considering selling the Brazilian, who has a contract at the Bernabeu until 2022 and a release clause of 180 million euros.
Plan B: SELL TO SIGN
In addition, Madrid's lack of backup for Marcelo -- they only have Theo Hernandez, who hasn't performed yet -- means his exit is almost impossible.
Juve have an ace up their sleeve, though. The Serie A champions would sell currently left-back Alex Sandro to Manchester United, which would give them the money which could tempt Madrid into selling.
