Cristiano Ronaldo scores for Juventus on his friendly debut
The Portuguese forward took just eight minutes to score as he started in a friendly vs the B team
Goalscorers score goals and nothing has changed for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is off the mark in Italy. The former Real Madrid striker played in his first match for Juventus in a friendly against the club’s B team at Villar Perosa.
This is Juve’s traditional curtain raiser but Ronaldo’s presence made it a far more attractive affair than usual.
Ronaldo slotted home the opener after reaching a long ball from Bernadeschi in the eighth minute, and missed a few chances too, with one cleared off the line, as he fine-tunes his form for the new season.
Dybala then struck after Ronaldo’s shot was blocked as Juve’s first team filled their boots.
