The Juventus player gave an interview in whicjh he spoke about himself

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo gave an interview to Portuguese newspaper Record in which he said, among other things, that he's not obsessed with indiviudal prizes, he doesn't live to break records and leaving the national team was his decision, although he will return in 2019.

"I'm not obsessed with individual prizes," said Ronaldo. "The important thing is helping the team, always, and therefore the rest arrives naturally.

"I don't hide that I'm happy when I win but it's not the end of the world if it can't happen."

Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or on five occasions, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.

He added that "leaving the national team for a while after the Russia World Cup was the best decision" although he said he would be ready to come back in 2019.
