Bayern's Salihamidzic confirms signing of Ajax right-back Mazraoui
Barcelona had tracked the Morocco international in the past as well
Bayern Munich' sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed the pending signing of Ajax right-back Noussair Mazraoui.
The club still have to make the transfer official, with Mazraoui's contract expiring in the summer, but Salihamidzic explained the club are "very happy that he has decided to join us for the coming years."
Salihamidzic added: "We still have some things to sort, but the signing is in the final stages and it looks good. He is a player that will help us and strengthen our team."
Mazraoui will join the German champions on a deal until 2026 for free. Barcelona had tracked the Morocco international in the past as well.
