The defender helped Betis to a 2-1 win over Real Madrid on Sunday

Marc Bartra spoke to the show Què t'hi Jugues! after helping Barcelona return to the top of La Liga this weekend.

The Catalan defender helped his Real Betis side beat Real Madrid 2-1. As a former Barça player, he was happy to help out, while also helping his current team to an important win.

Bartra, who left Barça for Borussia Dortmund before joining Betis, won't rule out one day returning to Camp Nou.

"I am completely focused on Betis but I have never closed the door on Barcelona," he said. However, he added that he has a "three-year contract with a high release clause," which provides him with "a lot of stability" where he is.

The centre-back still follows Barça's games, even more so since Quique Setien, his one-time coach at Betis, took over from Ernesto Valverde in January.

"There are games when things come off for them, other times not so much," Bartra added. "But, at the moment they're OK. They are top of the table. The league's tight and the small details will decide the title."

Bartra, who joined Betis in 2018, has played 1,973 minutes under Rubi this season, alternating between centre-back and holding midfield roles.
