The Betis winger spoke about the new Spain and Wolves wing wizard

Adama Traore is in fashion. Everyone is speaking about him and Joaquin did too. The Real Betis midfielder spoke to Canal Sur Radio and referred to Traore and his fine physique. "I wouldn't end up like him not even eating seven pots (of food) a day," joked the veteran.

He also spoke about his time with the national team and that he even still has some hope of playing for them, at the age of 39.

"While I am a professional footballer I will always have the hope of returning to the national team," said Joaquin. "I think I deserved a call (in 2008) to explain the reasons why (I was not selected)."

His last game was in 2007 against Switzerland, in a qualifier for that tournament.

"I think my way of being and way of seeing life has not helped me in football or in the national team. It shouldn't be like that because they should judge me for my play."

Joaquin is known as a right joker.

On retirement, he added: "If it has to be this year, it will be. And if I keep going, great. I want a happy ending because my career has been (happy)."
