Barça won the first leg 2-0 in Italy and are now favourites to progress

Barcelona's women are back in action at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Wednesday when they host Juventus in the Champions League (18:30h, Barça TV).

The Catalans are in pole position to make the last 16 of the competition after winning the first leg 2-0 in Turin last week thanks to goals from Alexia Putellas and Marta Torrejón.

However, Barça, who were beaten by Lyon in last season's final, will have to be at their best against a dangerous Juve side.

They go into the game on the back of a fine win against Atletico Madrid. Lluis Cortes' side beat last season's Spanish champions 6-1 in a devastating display.

Cortes, though, remains without the injured Lieke Martens, Vicky Losada, Pamela Tajonar and Andrea Falcón, while Mapi Leon is suspended.

As for Juve, they're in good form, too. They have won both of their league games so far and have nothing to lose in Barcelona given the first leg result. Star player Barbara Bonansea is injured, though.

Possible teams

FC Barcelona: Paños; Leila, Van der Gragt, Andrea Pereira, Torrejón; Hamraoui, Aitana, Alexia; Hansen, Mariona and Jennifer Hermoso.

Juventus: Giuliani; Hyyrynen, Gama, Sembrant, Boattin; Galli, Pedersen, Caruso; Cernoia, Aluko and Girelli.
