After 241 Clasicos both teams have won the same amount of games against each other

With La Liga nearly won by Barcelona, they face Real Madrid at the Bernabeu again with two different objectives. Madrid are hoping to make their fans happy and strike back after the 3-0 beating on Wednesday, while Barca are looking to finish off their eternal rival in the title race and stop Atletico from getting closer in the table.

But beyond the three points at stake at the Bernabeu, there is also an historical significance. After 241 Clasicos in official competition, Barcelona and Real Madrid have each had 95 wins. The other games, 51, were drawn.

So whoever wins on Saturday leads the private ‘league’, between Barca and Madrid.

Madrid have scored three more goals than Barca in these games - 403 to 398.

If Barca win the league Clasico they will go ahead of Madrid in those stakes for the first time in 87 years.

We have to recall that before 2003 Barca had only won 13 Clasicos at the Bernabeu. Since 2004, they have won 12 of the 24 disputed there.
