The Austrian attacker will return to Vienna ahead of likely Germany move

Barcelona have started to make decisions ahead of January as they seek ways to change the squad. Dani Alves will be registered and they will also try and make more signings.

Meanwhile, the first to leave will be Yusuf Demir, who's been on loan from Rapid Vienna since the summer. Barça have an option to buy for 10 million in June but won't execute it. They will let him leave next month to find a new team.

His next step will be Germany, with a number of Bundesliga sides are interested in the Austrian international.

There's no doubt the 18-year-old has quality, as he showed in preseason under Ronald Koeman, which saw him quickly registered with the first team rather than the B team.

He's had fewer chances under Xavi, although he did start against Benfica in the Champions League, hitting the bar with a great effort.

However, he knows opportunities will be hard to come by at Barca and has had his head turned by German interest in the form of Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht and Bayer Leverkusen.

Barça will end his loan early and he will return to Rapid Vienna, who could sell him this January if one of those Bundesliga sides is prepared to pay the 10 million euros.
