"Yerry Mina is spectacular in the air and can help Barcelona a lot"

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has praised the latest addition to his squad, Colombian defender Yerry Mina.
"He's a player the club have been following for a while," Valverde said. "He has a good personality for the group, we hope he will be competitive, that he will help us and get up to scratch with the team's play quickly.
"For him, it's a different league, but we are here to help him."
On Mina's way of celebrating goals, by dancing, Valverde said: "What I like is for my players to score goals... from there, a little joy in football is never a bad thing."
In terms of what Barça fans can expect from the 23-year-old, Valverde added: "Mina's a player who is daring in attack for a defender, he's spectacular in the air and has a great presence defensively.
"We need to see him train, we need to see how he will adapt to the team, that's important. He gives us the feeling that he can do anything.
"His debut? I am not sure. Let's see how he feels, he has to train with the team first. We have a style of play he will have to adapt to and we know it's not easy for defenders."
