Xavi rules out the return of Neymar to Barcelona

Neymar Junior's name has come up again. At SPORT we have reported that, following Messi's decision to accept the offer from Inter Miami, Neymar has offered to return. Even lowering his salary and adapting to the current financial context of the Azulgrana club. 

The Brazilian will not remain at PSG. Neither of the two parties has the intention for that to be so. However, Xavi Hernandez has made reference to a hypothetical return of the winger in his interview with 'Jijantes'. "It's a surprise what is being said about Neymar. In theory he is not in the planning. I appreciate him very much but there are other priorities. The sporting area already knows all the names".

Xavi and Neymar coincided for two seasons at FC Barcelona on the pitch, the Terrassa native's last two seasons as a Barça player. The good relationship between them, in principle, has no chance of facilitating a reunion.

For the moment, the future of the Brazilian star is an unknown quantity. He has a contract with PSG until 2027.
