The Barcelona coach revealed his main priorities for the summer transfer window

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernández appeared in front of the media before flying to Vigo to face Celta on Sunday in the final match of the LaLiga season.

The game, in sporting terms, has little at stake for the Blaugrana .- apart from Ter Stegen's clean sheet record and Lewandowski's Pichichi Trophy.

Celta, however, are playing to stay in the Primera División. It is an important match for the Galicians.

"Our discourse doesn't change," Xavi said. "The team wants to finish with a good feeling. We want to win, to do well and there are individual objectives: a clean sheet, Lewandowski's top scorer award...

"We have much less at stake than Celta, who are in a very complicated situation, but we want to play well and win. The image we want to give is the one we gave in Mallorca and in Valladolid."

The journalists' questions, however, were also focused on the sporting planning for next season. Xavi didn't want to make any statements about names, given that the roadmap is subject to the approval of the financial viability plan by LaLiga, although he acknowledged that the club is giving him "peace of mind".

Departures are also up in the air and the coach has not been able to hold any meetings with the players who could leave the club, given that Barça are not yet certain of being able to sign any players this summer.

Of course, Leo Messi's name is always present, which is why the Blaugrana coach once again reiterated his desire for the Argentine to return to Can Barça.

"I'd really like Leo to come back, he knows that and I've already spoken to him," he said. "It depends a bit on him. I am expectant and I would be especially excited if he came back.

"Wherever he has gone, things have gone well for him. He could help us in many ways, but it's more his decision and I would understand any scenario. As a Culé I would also like him back very much."

In addition to the Paris Saint-Germain player, Xavi has reiterated that Barcelona's other top priority is the addition of a defensive midfielder, following the departure of Sergio Busquets.

Martin Zubimendi, Joshua Kimmich and Ruben Neves are some of the names in the running to fill the position.

"I can't say too much about names," he added. "The club know my priorities, also the names. They know that. They know my position very clearly. Names, positions and scenarios."
