Xavi: I don't understand the word failure

The Catalan coach spoke about the upcoming showdown with Bayern Munich

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez says the dressing room is hopeful ahead of the clash with Bayern Munich. “Whoever tries and goes until the end… I don’t understand the word failure. For now we are hopeful and we will try to win, dominate, create chances. When the game ends we’ll see where we are and we will talk then.”

The Catalan, who suffered his first defeat at the helm against Real Betis on Saturday, believes the team can compete.

“We’re working so Barcelona are not inferior to any side in Europe. We have a lot of work ahead of us,” said Xavi.

“You have to have patience because this isn’t something that changes in a day, lately Bayern have been better than Barça but football always offers you a chance to turn things around.”
