Xavi Hernandez's technical team at Barça
The coach has brought some of his own men in to work at the club
Xavi Hernandez is counting on all his staff to help him take on his biggest challenge.
He is accompanied by two assistant coaches; his brother Oscar Hernandez and Sergio Alegre, both of whom were with Xavi at Al Sadd. Plus, goalkeeper coach Jose Ramon de la Fuente, the one member of the technical staff who has stayed through the past few years, arriving in 2012 under Tito Vilanova.
Ivan Torres will be the fitnesses coach, to the detriment of Albert Roca, the first to go. Carlos Nogueira is the physio although he’s not in the photo.
Sergio Garcia, Toni Lobo and David Prats are the first team analysts. They will be watching Barcelona from the main stand to film and meticulously pick through the footage to help the team improve.
Dr Ricard Pruna may also return at Xavi’s request. He is in Dubai working there at the moment after leaving Barcelona in September 2020.
