Xavi explains the one thing he's worried about with Lamine Yamal's development

Lamine Yamal continues to be one of Barça's most interesting players. The striker has been a reserve in recent games but made a big impact in the minutes he played against Mallorca at Son Moix.

Xavi was asked three questions about the management of the 16-year-old winger and insisted that he sees the player is enjoying the experience. The coach is more concerned about the physical adaptation to the top level than the pressure or media exposure. 

"Tactically and emotionally it doesn't change anything. He is just another member of the first team. When we have individual meetings, we treat him with the age he is. But he is 16 years old and in some parts of the game, it shows. In the efforts, because of a physical issue. Football is not just what you do with the ball," he began. 

"We have to protect him in minutes, depending on the opponent... He's a happy boy, he likes football, I see him very well, he's enjoying it. We protect him more because of the physical aspect," he insisted.
