What Ronald Koeman thinks about the Camp Nou car incident

The Barcelona coach and his wife were leaving when his car was banged on by angry fans

Ronald Koeman was the victim of an unsavoury incident on Sunday night when a group of fans banged on his car, showing the worst of themselves. The coach was with his wife Bartina and the car was kicked and spat at, while Koeman was insulted. The dutch coach was upset; this being the first time since he arrived in Barcelona in 1989 that he has been shown a big lack of respect and insulted in this fashion.

After going home and having dinner he thought about it and realised this aggressive behaviour of a group of youngsters does not represent the club or their fanbase. He doubts even a single one were a socio. Faithful to his way of thinking, he doesn’t want to give the matter any more importance.

Koeman also believes Barcelona were no worse than Madrid in the Clasico. He was happy with the work and attitude of his team. Of course, he wished they were more accurate in front of goal. He believes in his squad and until they show otherwise he’s convinced that playing in the same way will win them a lot of games.
