Quique Setien has just arrived in Barcelona but he's up to date on all the controversy that has surrounded the club in recent times.
One of the players in focus is Gerard Pique due to the trips he often takes in relation to his other businesses, such as the organisation of tennis' Davis Cup, among other things.
"I am no one's father," Setien said. "I am only their coach. I will worry about things when they're not training well. What am I going to say to them about what they can and can't do?"
In any case, Setien is happy with what he's seen from Pique and the defender's form.
"Pique is mature and responsible with what he can and cannot do," the Barça boss added. "He is training well, motivated. What he does in his private life... I am not on top of these things."
However, Setien makes it clear he's not afraid of big decisions: "If I see performances decrease, someone else will play because I'm the one who will get sacked. I will pick the best possible team for each game."
