Claudio Curti, the Argentinian defender's agent, was spotted on Tuesday by Jijantes leaving Mateu Alemany's office.

It is the last two weeks of the transfer window and FC Barcelona are looking to reinforce their full-back options. Xavi Hernández wants multiple options for each position to raise the competition. With Marcos Alonso intended for the left flank, FC Barcelona have several options for the right. One of them is Juan Foyth, a Villarreal player.

As reported by 'Jijantes', the Argentine player's agent, Claudio Curti, went to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and was spotted in Mateu Alemany's office on Tuesday morning. The club's director of football is the main proponent of the 24-year-old La Plata-born player.

Under contract with Villarreal until 30 June 2026, Foyth is a key player in Unai Emery's team. Signed last summer for 15 million euros after a season on loan with the 'grogueta' squad, he made 38 appearances in his second season at the Estadio de la Cerámica. He scored one goal and provided one assist.

Barça are also studying the option of Thomas Meunier, Jordi Cruyff's candidate. However, Borussia Dortmund do not want to release him because of the difficulty of finding a replacement for him on the market. The German club have frozen his departure for now, although communications are still open.
