The Italian midfielder says the club should not hang on to wantaway stars
Marco Verratti has told Radio Montecarlo that Brazilian teammate Neymar should be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain if he wants to go.
"A club cannot try and keep a player that really wants to go," the Italian said, who also tried to leave PSG for Barcelona a few years ago before renewing his deal in Paris.
Verratti added: "I would prefer Neymar to stay with us. I have never heard him say he wants to leave, but I don't know what he tells the club.
