The Italian has returned to training with Unai Emery's side

He is expected to be on the club's tour of the United States

Marco Verratti rejoined Paris Saint-Germain training on the day he was supposed to, as can be seen on a video posted by the club on social media on Friday.

Verratti, as reported SPORT, is not planning to take a stand but will instead opt for a quiet rebellion in his bid to get the French club to sell him to Barcelona this summer.

PSG coach Unai Emery had his non-international players in earlier this week, while the rest of the squad were expected back in Friday. Verratti was in the second group and was back on Friday having spent a few days back in Paris working with his own fitness coach.

The news was announced with grandiose by the Ligue 1 club's website to demonstrate that he had not rebelled and was continuing with the club.

Barcelona, meanwhile, have contacted PSG to find out how much they want for the player, as revealed by Josep Maria Bartomeu to SPORT, but have been told Verratti is not for sale and there's no release clause in his contract.
